Chosen: Coming home
Papers are now signed.
They are not reversable.
Micah Hope came home Thursday around 10:30 pm and she had a great first night.
Since I did not completly put a nursery together we have quite a bit of things to do including setting up a crib, moving out a twin bed, registering for the few things that we don’t have and going to pick up the few things that we have to have today.
What now?
Now, we put our nursery together and hope for more easy nights like last night. We will meet with our social worker in a couple of weeks so she can access how we are doing. I need to call our lawyer so she can get the finalization papers started. We have 27 more days to wait on the punitive father registry, meaning if figures out that there is a baby and that she was adopted he could contest it. But its not likely. At all.
And now she’s home!
